Emily + Kyle | Pickering Barn in Issaquah

Cameron and I had a wonderful time photographing Kyle and Emily at the Pickering Barn in Issaquah. Their wedding was on a Sunday and it happened to be on the day of a Seahawks game. They had fun with it though and made a fun joke during the ceremony. Once of the groomsmen had a bluetooth on and kept yelling "yes" and cheering. Kyle and Emily stopped the ceremony and asked "are you listening to the game?" Then he sheepishly took off the bluetooth. :)
One of Kyle's groomsmen was deployed to Afghanistan shortly before the wedding so they had a large card board cut-out made of him to include him in the day. That was such a great sentiment!
We loved their pie and ice cream table.. and also the popcorn table! It's so neat to see couples doing something different than cake these days. What a wonderful way to make it personal and unique.
We finished off the night by hiking to the top of an empty parking garage to get an awesome view of the venue and sunset. It was totally worth all those steps :)
